• I was sitting by the window, sipping a cup of steaming coffee and enjoying the stillness the morning offered when Darien burst into the room, his usual confident stride making it obvious to me that he had something on his mind to spill.
• I hadn't seen him much over the past few days, and I hope that the trend would continue so I get to have my peace of mind. But judging by his looks, he certainly had other plans today that were going to be a stark contrast to my peace of mind.
