• “Training is over for today,” Sasha spat out, whipping through the group, her eyes scanning everyone. “But listen up, there is going to be a challenge coming up soon. So you’d all better be ready for the drill.”
• Her eyes went to fall on me, lingering on me for a longer while as if she was trying to tell me that the challenge was specifically for me. “You all know how this works right?” she went on to ask and the rest of the group excitingly chorused a positive answer.
