“And another thing,” she continued, her voice calmer now. “You have to stop pushing yourself hard in training. I can't believe that you are trying to prove a point, but collapsing from exhaustion isn't going to earn you any respect, it is only going to make you weaker.”
Her words got to me as always, going on to settle uncomfortably in my chest. I have been pushing myself to breaking point, thinking that if I train harder, if I fight harder, the pack might finally get to see through Audrey's lies about me, and see me for who I am.
