• Claire’s pov
• The meeting kicked off in no time as soon as the pack members had fully gathered. The tension in the room was an electrifying one, it was like a taut string ready to snap. I looked around, everyone was talking amongst themselves and letting quiet laughter escape their mouth at intervals.
• I knew I was the only one feeling the tension because I was the only one with things up my sleeves as Darien had said. I sat at the front, with Raven by my side, her hand gently caressing my own that was resting on my lap, trying to out the anxiety my whole living being was clouded with.
