• Darren's POV
• It had not taken me the whole afternoon and sometime into the night to calm myself. I just was not sure how to go back and face Claire. She had asked me to give her time and it had confirmed my thoughts. She was feeling pressured by me asking her to give everything up for me.
• I had gone on a drive, stopped at some point and then started to walk. It was one of the perks of being close to countryside territory. The cool, calm natural environment had helped me calm down from the emotional and mental high I had been on.
