• Olivia stared intently at Edward, who was currently enjoying a bite of Almond Banana Tart in front of him. They were sitting in a bistro not far from Olivia’s place.
• From the furrow of her brow, it was clear that Olivia was deep in thought. She was unsure where to start or how to explain her plans to accompany Tristan on a week-long business trip to Dubai. She knew Edward would be both angry and disappointed. After all, he had clearly warned her from the beginning that he wouldn’t agree if Olivia accepted Tristan's invitation. But what could she do? She had to be honest with him, right? It was better than lying and ultimately causing more disappointment.
