• Tristan sat pensively in front of the treatment room. It was the second day he waited for Olivia, who showed no signs of improvement. Since morning, she hadn’t shown any indication of waking from her prolonged sleep. Despite the doctors confirming that her vital organs had returned to normal and were functioning properly, there was one bitter reality that Tristan had to accept, adding to the list of his mistakes with Olivia.
• “According to our observations, Mrs. Olivia should regain consciousness soon. Her heart function, blood pressure, and other vital organs have returned to normal,” explained one of the doctors who had just finished visiting Olivia’s room. He patiently explained to Tristan, Edward, and Olivia’s mother.
• “So, does this mean she might wake up today, Doctor?” Edward asked again to confirm.
