Chapter 32

• Raphael was startled, his face somewhat tense as all his muscles stiffened. Bringing his eyes up, he continued to stare at the neatly arranged wedding invitations on the desk not far from his laptop. The lavish party scheduled for the weekend was sure to be grand. Despite knowing this wedding was part of Tristan's plan, Raphael couldn't deny how meticulously the young man he had cared for over the past few years had prepared everything.
• Looking at the guest list, Tristan had invited many important people from the business community. Not to mention media partners and several representatives from renowned vendors were also included in the count. Raphael wasn't entirely at ease. Truly, he felt afraid and anxious that Tristan might falter halfway through, and the worst-case scenario would be Rudolf's influence getting to him. God knows, Raphael knew all too well the lengths his former friend could go to achieve his ambitions.
• "If it's dangerous, why not try to sabotage it, Sir?" Fabio's voice startled Raphael out of his wandering thoughts.
