Chapter 33

Olivia appeared stiff, her head bowed awkwardly. After finishing distributing invitations to her friends and colleagues, she gathered the courage to visit Edward directly at the Alpha Beta building.
Initially afraid her presence wouldn't be welcomed, Olivia breathed a sigh of relief. As soon as his secretary announced her arrival, Edward immediately invited her into his office.
"Olivia, what do you really want to talk about? Why have you been silent all this time?" Edward asked impatiently. His facial expression seemed normal. There was no trace of the annoyance or disappointment Olivia had seen when he initially rejected her proposal.
