• "That’s what I hate about making plans with Edward. It’s always like this!" Nicholas complained with a pout. Why did he keep letting his friend play him like this?
• This afternoon, Edward suggested to his three friends that they meet at a shooting range. Tired of horseback riding, bowling, or billiards, he finally proposed that they try a different activity this week. Instead of arriving early, Edward, as usual, showed up late, irritating Nicholas, who was already on edge.
• "Even though you know Edward’s habits, you still innocently show up on time, right?" Tristan teased with a laugh. He enjoyed seeing his friend look annoyed.
