Chapter 19

• Edward and all the other friends who were exploring the forest were immediately startled by the loud gunshot. Turning around, they realized that Tristan and Rudolf were nowhere to be seen.
• Concerned that something might have happened to them, Edward and the others decided to venture back into the forest to search for Tristan and Rudolf. The atmosphere grew tense as, on the way, another gunshot echoed loudly through the air.
• Edward, already gripped with panic, hastened his steps. Upon reaching the location, he and the others were shocked. There was Tristan, alert and holding a gun. Meanwhile, Rudolf was seated on the ground, with two wild dogs lying nearby, apparently shot by Tristan's weapon.
