• Kael stormed back to the dungeons later that evening, his footsteps echoing sharply against the stone walls. His mind was set. He would confront the prisoner, drag the truth out of him, and ensure justice was served for Chloe. No one would stand in his way this time.
• The torches along the dungeon walls flickered as he descended the narrow stairwell, the air thick with the familiar scent of damp stone and rusted iron. His personal guard, Henry, followed closely behind, his expression stoic but tense.
