Chapter 51 Unexpected Attack (2)

Selena's heart ached at Sam's words. She could not believe what Sam had just said. The relationship between the two of them had always been good, and they had never gotten in any big argument.
Additionally, Sam had not done anything that was out of line with the relationship between the two of them, at least any that she knew of. She loved him with all her heart, believing that he was going to be her husband, even though the apocalypse had descended.
But now, hearing how easily he said that he could abandon her, she just could not believe it. Was this the same person that she loved? The same person that showed her love?
