Chapter 22 Setting Out

• At the same time that this thought appeared in his mind, the lady also walked over. She looked at Philip and asked, “Where is your car? Don’t tell me that you got here on foot, did you?”
• Philip came back to his senses, turning to face the lady. He looked at her for a moment before he responded, “The car that I came in crashed.”
• Due to the dizziness that was caused by excessive loss of blood, he lost control of the car, leading to the car crashing into a tree. Philip did not think that the car was currently in a condition to be able to continue with the journey.
