Chapter 17 Yours

• It had been four days since the incident, sometimes I would still wake up in the middle of the night from the nightmares as I relived the dreadful event. Then he would hold me until I fall back to sleep. 
• "Walt baby, I'm good, better, I need to get out of the house. I already talked to Gabby yesterday. As good as Milo is for me I need to interact with other people." I told him while Milo was snuggling his fuzzy cheeks to me, whining for my attention.
• "I know baby, it's just that the warning that Dave gave me regarding Marie's killer...it worries me, he's making it an official open case when her family came forward and claimed her remains and demand the person responsible for her death." He drinks his coffee while draping his arm to my shoulder and pulled me closer to his chest.
