- I hadn’t spoken to Theron in three days. His last message mentioned some unforeseen complications he needed to handle before returning to New York. I had texted back, asking if that meant he wouldn’t be back on Saturday like he’d promised... but he never replied.
- Even after we wrapped up the Dashiell Murdock situation, a mountain of problems still loomed over us. We worked ourselves into exhaustion, barely stopping until late Friday evening. I told my team to take the weekend off. They needed rest. They deserved it. Come Monday, we’d have new fires to put out. But I still came in on Saturday, determined to fix a few glitches that had popped up in our most recent uploads.
