- The man’s eyes darted between Kael’s calm expression and the faint red dot glowing across his own shirt. His lips trembled, the hand near the desk still hovering where he had pressed the alarm switch.
- “You… you killed them all?” his voice broke.
- Kael leaned back in the chair, one leg still crossed neatly over the other, a faint smile curling on his lips. His gloved hand pointed lazily at the window.
