• I wasted no time following suit. Pulling my hair back into a ponytail, I hastily put on my black attire, mirroring his example. Just five minutes after Xavier had departed, I exited the room, two gun holstered snugly on each leg. These were a gift from Connor, a reward for my success in tactical weapons training just days prior.
