• AMELIA’S P.O.V
• I am almost embarrassed at how quickly I rushed out of the room when Clara arrived. She was still barefooted and she smiled softly at me as she shut the door behind her. As we walked through the office walls, I took my time to really admire the expensive interior of the place. Clara led me to her car and as soon as the doors were shut and I was sure we were far away from Kaden and his super Alpha hearing that I know every Alpha possesses, I turned to Clara.
• “Kaden was nicer than I thought he would be,” I admitted and she turned to me with an amused smile. “I thought he would be upset for disrespecting him at the lake earlier but he told me it was fine.”
