Chapter 107

• KADEN’S P.O.V
• It took me about ten minutes to get back in the flow but once I did, we were done with the entire assignment in less than half an hour and just like I predicted, the smile on her face and the pure and undiluted joy with which she threw her hands around my shoulders was enough to have me feeling like I had just wrangled the sun.
• She got off me to put her books back where they belonged and I couldn’t help but watch her as she moved around the small space. An uninvited thought of her doing the same in my house and my room had the corner of my lips curling up. It would be the highlight of my life so far but I knew that if I asked her now then she was likely to refuse so I stored the thought away for a later time.
