Chapter 19 An Unwanted Guest

• In the evening that day, Camellia seized a child’s hand when both of them had just arrived home. Soon, she heard a few knocks on the door that sounded discomforting. Then, she quickly scurried to the door and looked through the peephole to see who it was. When she did that, a frown appeared on her face.
• Cindy?! That’s one unexpected guest! I didn’t expect her to visit so soon. Upon a brief hesitation, she called out to Kenneth and said, “Ken, please take Angie to the study now.”
• “Mommy, I don’t feel like moving, plus there is nothing to eat in the study—”
