Chapter 14 Recognition

• It was during recess at Golden Sun Kindergarten when a long line of black cars pulled up at the entrance.
• At the gates, the teachers already had their briefing, and now they wore uniforms as they awaited the arrival of a VIP. A bodyguard opened the door of the second Rolls-Royce there.
• The first person to get out of the car had long, slender legs. In black slacks, he stood tall and strong. When his shiny dress shoes made contact with the ground, they were silent, but the man’s aura was so powerful that everyone on the spot inhaled sharply.
• James was wearing a suit when he got out of the car, and his clearly defined handsome face was cold yet radiating. It caused everything else around him to dull in comparison.
• The man stood in front of the car, his dark eyes sweeping a glance at his surroundings. Every person who got in his line of sight held their breath and lowered their head.
• The two rows of kindergarten teachers could barely hide their excitement. “Whoa… It’s Young Master James! He’s so cool!”
• “Shh! The principal told us to keep calm and be quiet. If we wake the children, Young Master James will get angry!”

• Seeing James, the principal hastily walked over respectfully. “You’re just in time, Young Master James. According to your wishes, the teachers had let the children take naps after lunch.”
• The urgent notice came in the morning, stating that James would be observing the kindergarten that day, but he requested to arrive when the children were taking their naps, and he restricted the kindergarten from making a fuss about it.
• The principal didn’t know the reason, but still, everything was carried out carefully and diligently.
• James nodded calmly, then looked at the rows of teachers. “Let the teachers rest, and just take me to your office.”
• “Understood,” the principal replied, then gestured toward an assistant to do as James had said.
• In the office, without waiting for the principal to talk, James’ assistant Dom took out a photo. “These two children are enrolled here, aren’t they? Which class are they in?”
• The principal took the photo and examined it. “Oh! It’s the twins Kenneth and Angela Burns! They’re very famous here. They only transferred here a few days ago, but almost every teacher and student knew them already.”
• “Can you bring them here?” Dom requested flatly.
• The principal glanced in surprise at James, who was sitting there with a grave expression. Young Master James came here for these two?

• The principal had never noticed it before, but now that James was here in person, another look at Kenneth’s photo was enough to connect the dots.
• Goodness! How is it that Kenneth and Angela Burns look so much like Young Master James?

• The principal could do nothing but lead Dom to the classroom.
• In the classroom, there were more than 20 children there, and each of them was sleeping in their own bed under the teacher’s watchful gaze.
• In a little bed in the corner, a small figure turned over, chewing sounds coming from her mouth.
• The female teacher told Dom. “That’s Angela Burns. She always dreams about eating food in her naps… The one in the next bed, with his back turned to us, is her brother, Kenneth Burns.”
• Dom nodded and tiptoed to the kids’ bed.
