Chapter 10 Illegitimate Children

• At the Yates Residence, Cindy had just finished her bath and applied a facial mask when her phone rang.
• Seeing that it was a call from her manager, Phoebe Mack, she put it on speaker. As soon as the call connected, Phoebe’s anxious voice sounded. “Cindy, terrible news! Look, the news is all over the internet! They’re saying that Young Master James had illegitimate children!”
• “What?” Cindy was massaging her face, but she stopped her actions and smiled in disdain. “Don’t you know what sort of man he is? He doesn’t even have a girlfriend, so how could he have illegitimate children?”
• “Just look at the video I sent you! It’s a pair of fraternal twins! And they’re around 4 years old! They look a lot like Young Master James, especially the boy. He’s like an exact copy!”

• Cindy was stunned, and she was so shocked that the mask fell off her face. “D-Don’t the children have parents?”
• “We’re not sure of that yet! We just know that the boy is named Kenneth Burns, and the girl’s name is Angela Burns.”
• Kenneth and Angela Burns? Burns… B...
• Bel… Isabel?
• Cindy quickly shot up on her feet and unlocked her phone. She soon found the commercial Phoebe sent her.
• The video depicted a stern-looking boy and an adorable girl, and they both looked like the mini version of James!
• Cindy’s face and eyes were filled with shock and disbelief!
• That wretched Isabel slept with Young Master James and then gave birth to his children?
• No!
• It cannot be!
• How could that wretch have such good luck?!
• “Cindy?!”
• Phoebe’s voice over the phone pulled Cindy out of her thoughts.
• She quickly calmed herself and said hastily, “The children can’t be Young Master James’! Go and investigate! Do it before he notices and find out who the mother is!”
• “Young Master James already knows! These children filmed a commercial, and it isn’t even shown on television yet, but this small clip is already going viral online!”
• Cindy reached up and smacked her own forehead, gritting her teeth and seething, “Then why did you tell me only now? Do you want me to die?”
• Phoebe was obviously dumbfounded. “Cindy, why are you reacting like that? It’s not that serious, is it?”
• Cindy tried to suppress her anger and slowed down. “Sorry, I was too surprised… Phoebe, you know I have feelings for Young Master James. Just go and figure out where the children came from. If they honestly were his illegitimate children, then I really have no hope to date Young Master James, right?”
• “I’ve already had my people on it. Don’t worry. I’ll tell you the news as soon as we find something.”
• After ending the call, Cindy was so anxious that she started pacing around. Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks, and a vicious smile formed on her face
