Chapter 74 The Competition

• Late spring came with a pleasant surprise when Phoebe's teacher disclosed a district-wide educational competition that would oppose students to show excellence in different subjects while working together with teammates from other schools, causing Phoebe to feel both happy and anxious as she considered whether to take part.
• "The competition includes math, science, literature, and creative problem-solving," Mrs. Patterson noted during the initial meeting. "Teams will consist of three students from different schools, so participants will need to work effectively with unfamiliar partners.
