• The celebration for the pack’s initiation is in full swing now that the ceremony is finished. The entire Ivory Fangs pack has gathered in front of the pack house, laughter and music filling the air as everyone dances, eats, and celebrates. The men are tending to the grills, the rich scent of roasted meat blending with the smoky fire from the boar Royce brought down a few days ago. I knew that stubborn pig would end up on a spit before the week was out—but preparing it yesterday morning alongside the omegas was nothing short of exhausting.
• We had all agreed that the omegas deserved a break, so after making salads and sides for the feast yesterday, the kitchen was officially closed for today. They could finally enjoy themselves without being tied to chores. My gaze drifts across the clearing where the pups are squealing with delight. Milan and Royce are dancing among them, pulling silly faces and moving in awkward steps that have the little ones clutching their bellies in laughter.
