Chapter 36
- The mountain loomed ahead, its shadow casting an imposing figure over the rugged terrain. Amara and Xander stood at the base of its jagged cliffs, the map glowing faintly in her hand as they deciphered the final clue. They had followed the markings faithfully, and now the entrance to the artifact’s resting place was within reach.
- “It’s here,” Amara said, her voice filled with awe and trepidation. She traced her fingers over a section of the map, where an intricate drawing of a labyrinth overlapped with their current location.
- Xander scanned the rock face, his sharp blue eyes narrowing. “If the artifact has been hidden all these centuries, the entrance won’t be obvious. We’ll need to look for anything that feels... unnatural.”
