• The moon cast a silvery glow over Xander’s estate as Amara paced through the halls, her mind racing with the events of the day. The confrontation with Lucy had left her shaken but resolute. Lucy’s confidence in her schemes, her cruel taunts, and her willingness to use rogues to capture Amara confirmed that the danger was far greater than she had initially thought.
