Chapter 21
- The tension in the air was palpable as Amara strode into Xander’s war room, her expression determined. Asher was already there, leaning over a large map spread across the table. Xander stood on the opposite side, his broad shoulders tense as he discussed the latest reports with his Beta. The scent of urgency hung in the room, mingling with the faint smell of parchment and ink.
- “They’re escalating,” Asher said, stabbing his finger at the map. “Three attacks in less than a week. Small, but deliberate. They’re hitting supply routes and weak spots in our borders.”
- “They’re not just random raids,” Xander replied, his tone grave. “These are coordinated strikes meant to disrupt and spread fear.”
