• The decision was made late that night in Xander’s study, the weight of it hanging heavily in the air. Amara stood by the window, staring out into the moonlit courtyard, while Xander leaned against the massive wooden desk, arms crossed. The urgency of Amara’s vision from the Moon Goddess had left them no choice. The artifact was their only hope of defeating Joshua, Lucy, and the rogue alliance before it was too late.
• “We have to leave soon,” Xander said, his voice steady but firm. “The longer we wait, the closer they come to solidifying their power. If this artifact can tip the scales, we can’t afford to delay.”
• Amara nodded, turning to face him. “I know. The Moon Goddess didn’t say how much time we have, but it’s clear this isn’t a journey we can take lightly. It’ll be dangerous.”
