• I froze in my tracks the moment my eyes landed on Maddie standing in my office with a tray in her hand. I didn't know what exactly she was holding, but it smelled of baked goodness and it took a lot of effort for me not to swallow like a dog.
• Craig was excited as hell as he perceived the scent of her wolf. He was trying to reach out to her wolf, but with no bond between the both of us, it would be really hard for him to make the connection that he wanted to make.
