• I was excited about the prospect of getting married to Maddie. Maybe it was the thrill of defying the council and getting married to whom they didn't consider as worthy. For a group that had really been pestering me about getting a Luna, this was the best payback one could get.
• Everything was set and we were all gathered at the ceremony grounds. The moment the ceremony started and Maddie began to walk down the aisle in her pristine white pearl dress, I was super grateful that I had not given in to the crazy little voice that was asking me to go and take a peep at Maddie to see how she was dressed before the ceremony.
