• I didn’t feel so comfortable with the guards following me over to Sarah’s place, but I didn’t have a choice. I knew this was bound to happen. Ethan was never going to trust me enough, just the same way, I could never get to trust him at all.
• We arrived at Sarah’s apartment complex and I got down from the car with Leo. Lisa asked me to leave the child behind with her, but I said no. There was absolutely no way I was going out without taking my son with me. As much as I trusted her, I didn’t trust Vanessa.
