• Even though he had agreed to my suggestion back at the council meeting, I did not think he really appreciated it. I mean, there was no visible reaction from him. He had only acknowledged it after the council members had all nodded their heads in agreement with my plan.
• So having him here to confess that my idea was great was impressive. However, I was learning not to get head over heels for his praise. He had praised me after I had helped expose Elora and her partner. However, that did not stop him from treating me the way he wanted. He was a snake and I needed to be careful around him.
