Chapter 51

• Abby’s POV
• Standing in front of me is no other than Thomas. The man that I was introduced to by Jose’s father at a party. Confusion takes up residence because I can’t understand why he is here, or why he wanted me here. Thomas gives me the same smirk as before. The one he thinks is so sexy, and I would be lying if I said that it wasn’t. I just stare at him, unsure of what to do. I glance around the room to check if there is any other way out of here, but I come up empty handed. Unable to take the silence any longer I blurt out. “Why am I here? What do you want with me?” My questions make Thomas laugh. That pisses me right the fuck off.
• Finally, he answers me. “Why do you think you are here? Come on Abby the last time we spoke you were by far way smarter.” I mull over his statement and the only thing I can come up with is because of Jose. “This has to do with my husband I know that. But I thought the two of you were child hood friends. So, why would you take me? Trust me I am not complaining one bit. I am glad to be away from Jose. That is as long as you don’t have any further plans to harm either me or my babies.”
