Chapter 46

• Abby’s POV
• After another round with Jose, I finally collapse onto the bed into a deep slumber. When I finally wake up, I immediately begin to feel around for my husband, but he isn’t there. Where he once laid last night is now empty and cold. I get up and begin the day trying to ignore the hurt feelings and disappointment of Jose being gone. Today is the day that the painter’s are coming for the nursey. I am so excited. Selena and mother are coming over to help me pick out which theme I want.
• As I make my way downstairs I pause when I hear a voice talking. It’s my husband. I figured he would have been long gone by now. I quietly sneak the rest of the way down the hall to where Jose is. I peek around the corner to find him on his phone. “No, I will not be coming over any time soon. I have told you time and time again that you and I aren’t a thing. I will do my part and take care of you and our child, but other then that I want nothing to do with you. I have a wife who I have pushed aside for way to long. I can tell by the way she looks at me, that I am close to loosing her. That is something that I won’t let happen. So, for the last time do not call me again. Unless it has something to do with the baby. If you do, I will make sure that you only live long enough to give birth. After that I will end your life for you.”
