• All three of the brothers are staring at Abby as we make our way to the table. I instantly tighten my hold on her hand. I do not like these men ogling my wife. I help her back into her seat then I take mine. Before I can speak Ivan beats me to it. “Jose, I had heard that your wife was a very beautiful woman. But I had no idea she was this pretty. You are a very lucky man.” His words infuriate me. So, I snap at him. “My wife’s looks are no business of yours. I would appreciate if you kept your eyes to yourself. In fact, the next time I catch any of you three staring at her. I will cut your eye out of its socket and shove it down your mouth. Now if you will excuse us Abby and I have other things to attend to.”
