• Jose is acting like his betrayal isn’t nothing major. There is a baby involved for goodness sake. I can only stare at him. The nerve of this mother fucker. He goes to reach for me, but I jerk away from him. This pisses him off. “Abby don’t make me punish you. I am trying to be understandable right now, but you are making it very hard for me. Now we have to get back to the party. Once we arrive you better act like nothing is wrong. I don’t want you to leave my side for the rest of the night. Do I make myself clear?” He pauses waiting for me to answer him. Which I do. “If you want me to pretend to be the cheerful wife. Then how about actually trying to make me happy for once.
