• I begin to panic, because Jose will make good on his promise. So, I quickly inform him that he had it all wrong. “I wasn’t flirting with no one your father brought Cillian and Thomas over to our table and they sat down. Apparently the three of them had a bet going that Thomas could get me to tell him where you were at. I didn’t I said that you hadn’t arrived yet, but you should be joining us soon. Then Cillian and your father made Thomas pay up since he lost. We were all laughing at how fast I lied. I would never disrespect you like that. Especially in front of your parents how stupid do you think I am?”
