• Abby’s POV
• Jose stomps in the bathroom, and I find myself wishing that I could disappear into my bath water. He doesn’t speak a word to me. Before he is bending down and lifting me out of the tub by my arm. I struggle to get to my feet. My belly doesn’t make it easy to stand up especially in a hurry. Once I am upright, he pulls me out of the tub and straight into the bedroom. I instantly wrap my arms around my stomach trying to protect my babies from any harm. Jose must notice this because his grip eases up just a little bit. He pushes me down onto the bed before he begins to pace in front of me. The silence in the room gives me time to think. Which only causes me to get angry. ‘How can this mother fucker be mad at me. After everything he has done to me. What right does he have to come here and demand anything from me. If I am about to get punished then by golly, I am going to give him a piece of my mind first.’
