• "What are the identities of those ladies the Alpha brought back to the pack?" An elder asked Kaia suspiciously as they noticed Dylan leading Eric and Amanda into the hospital building. "I notice at least one of them always visits them every day. Do they have a special identity?" He probed further and Kaia quietly glared at him with pursed lips.
• "Elder Levi, it would be best if you don't poke your nose into the Alpha's business, whatever their identity might be, you have to wait for them to be introduced" she reprimanded coldly, earning an eye roll from the elder.
• "Beta Kaia, as an elder in the pack, I do have a right to know those who go out and come into the pack. Given the rate at which the rogues operate these days, we can't just allow some random people in the pack! I was only asking for the sake of the pack members," Elder Levi bites back with a glare of his own.
