Chapter 33
- Despite wanting to focus on nothing but solving the mystery surrounding their mate's existence, the twin alphas were forced back into reality as their responsibilities came knocking. Being the supreme Alphas of the werewolf race, they weren't privileged to a lot of free time and even more so now with the threat of the Blood Moon hanging over their heads ever so closely.
- "The project has been put on hold, due to a shortage of wolfsbane-coated silver rods," Kaia said, her voice calm and professional. Kaia braced herself for the inevitable backlash from both alphas.
- "Were preparations not made before the project began?" He questioned and Kaia shivered in fear at the unfriendliness in his voice, cursing the elders for always pushing her forward when they've done the wrong thing. "The preparations were made, however, the supplier sent a message that they wouldn't be able to send that much wolfsbane-coated silver rod in such a short time and they agreed to compensate us for the breach in contract," Kaia explained.
