• "Your majesty, what do you mean treating Grand Duke Lucas could wait?" Levi, a vampire Lord, questioned, his tone cold and rude. Athan rested his head on his palm and looked down at Levi and the rest of the lords from his throne, his bright crimson eyes held no emotion as he looked bored.
• "You all know how important Grand Duke Lucas's presence is, after his ailment, we've constantly been suppressed by those minor clans in the south" Levi argued when he got no response from Athan.
• Peter, another Lord from the opposing faction stepped forward with a frown, "What do you mean Grand Duke Lucas's presence is important? Do you know what chaos he caused when he was sane? Besides, the king never said he wouldn't be treated, he was just suggesting we could exchange it for some more important artefact from the wolf kings since they are in a desperate time at the moment" he countered.
