Chapter 20

• Ruby caught up to the two, running to catch up after Toran's words of encouragement had lifted her spirits. She felt a bit better but still nervous. She had worried about 'her' safety, and whether she had made the right choice at the time.
• She had thought about it so many times, wondering if she had made the second worst choice of her life - the first being the decision to steal the halo and run with it. But there was no going back now, and she had to make the most of the present.
• 'She has lots of people to protect her and me being away is the best choice' she encouraged herself trying not to think about the worst possibilities.
