Chapter 95 Ruby Pack Welcome

• We pull into the Ruby Pack house driveway as the sun rises on the horizon. We were meant to arrive last night, but after the attack in rogue territory, we were delayed. Many of the warriors who accompanied us were injured and forced to return to the Obsidian Pack. The others who decided to tag along are battered but not broken. They stand behind us, ready to face whatever Alpha Jasper has in store for us.
• Jasper steps out of the pack house and wrings his hands together as if he is concerned. A pretty brunette is standing behind him with her eyes glued to the ground. I cock my head to the side and will myself not to dive into her mind, but I am failing. She is Alpha Jasper's mate, but if that is the case, why is she not standing by his side?
