• I am standing in the doorway of Elara's room. My brothers won't let me get any closer. I watch them curiously as they talk gently to Elara and hold her hands. The silver locket has been removed from her neck and hidden in my father's office. Only to be returned to her when she leaves for the Imperial Pack's temple.
• The doctor gave her medication to reverse the effects of the silver poisoning. Now, we have to wait for her body to heal.
