• The trip to the Opal Pack is silent. Zane has offered me his shirt several times, but I keep refusing to look in his direction. I am pissed. I am pissed at all of them. I am mad at Zeus for putting a tracker on my son, I am mad at Zeke for refusing to mark me, and I am mad at Zane for admitting that having sex with another woman was fun.
• I know I am being unreasonable, but I don't have the strength not to be. When Zane slept with Sabrina, I was barely a memory in his mind. Just a little kid who used to follow him around and insist that we play dolls. But my first night with them is at the forefront of my mind. The way they touched me and took their time to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied is a moment that I will always treasure. And to think that it was merely a subpar moment for the three of them is too much to bear.
