We passed it and a narrow stone staircase led us to a golden lawn lit by the light of the full moon. The night was pleasant, but not too hot, as summer was drawing to a close, already bringing a cool autumn breeze. We followed to a white barred gate where we arrived at a huge garden. He led me through a kind of green, natural labyrinth until we reached the center, with beautiful pine trees and small white benches.
