Chapter 52 I Give The Orders Around Here

• The princes' room was on the third floor, not the second, like the queen's. So I would probably work on the royal floor. I didn't understand why the offices were on different floors, but I still didn't question it. Dereck wasn't there, as he'd said he would be. The place was large, like everything else in that castle, except the servants' dormitory. It had huge glass windows, both hidden by huge curtains. An old and perhaps expensive rug covered most of the floor. It was decorated minimally, but with expensive furniture tailored to the space. There were two huge tables, which I assumed were for the princes and two smaller ones at the entrance to the room, near the door. I had already sat in the comfortable chair at the table I had chosen, not knowing exactly if I could. Working there directly with them and away from Lana would be a gift. There was a computer at each table.
• - You can have this table. said Magnus. – Simon uses the other. Your computers don't have internet access, but you can use it with my authorization if you need to. My and Dereck's computer passwords are not given to employees, just for the use of any means that could leak confidential information from within the castle. Any question?
