Chapter 9 The Interview

• Amelie's POV
• Thank goodness I only had class until 1:00 pm today. I want to look perfect for the interview. Against my advice, Tiff is playing hooky from class this afternoon to help me prepare and drive me to the interview so I don't have to take the subway. After my last class, I met her in the quad, and we quickly made it to her car. We head straight to my apartment so that I can shower, do my hair and makeup, and get dressed. I make sure to put on extra deodorant because I'm so nervous that I feel like I'm already sweating buckets.
• Tiff rushes me into the car and drives me downtown. We arrive at the Michaels Investment building safe and sound.
