Chapter 41 First Flight

• Nathan’s POV
• I have to admit I miss Amelie. I haven’t seen her in two days. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Samuel and I had to fly out to Seattle to finalize the three acquisitions. To our surprise, on Wednesday, before we left, we secured two more financial companies that had approached us for mergers. It was a successful trip all around.
• Amelie had thrown herself into studying for her finals as soon as we got home Monday evening from the hospital. We had been texting back and forth for a couple of days, and I found it so easy to talk to her, whether by phone or text. There was never an awkward pause in the conversation.
